Victoria Falls, the Okavango Delta, the game-rich park of Chobe and a houseboat safari on Lake Kariba

The beautiful rivers and lakes of Zambia and Botswana create an ideal location for prolific wildlife and diverse game viewing. We start with a relaxing sunset cruise and game drive in Chobe National Park; a wilderness sanctuary for lion, elephant, leopard, puku and birdlife. We then head to the peaceful setting of the Okavango Delta where we travel by mokoro, dug-out canoe, and take bush walks. Victoria Falls - indisputably one of the world's most spectacular waterfalls - is one of the other highlights, along with a relaxing three-day stay on beautiful Lake Kariba.

Day 1 Start Livingstone, visit the impressive Victoria Falls. 2 Morning free in Livingstone; drive to Kasane in Botswana. 3 Morning game drive and sunset cruise in Chobe N.P. 4 Drive to Maun via Nata. 5-6 Two tranquil days in the Okavango Delta; game viewing by mokoro and bush walks. 7 Return to Maun, optional flight over the Delta. 8 Visit to Makgadikgadi Pans. 9 Return to Zambia, to Mabula Ranch. 10 Morning at the ranch, visit eland sanctuary; to houseboat on Lake Kariba. 11-12 Two days on houseboats, visit Chete Island, Crocodile Farm and local village. 13-14 To Livingstone; optional activities including canoeing, whitewater rafting on the Zambezi or a flight over the falls. 15 End Livingstone
