After a brief overnight in Nairobi, travel south to Kilimanjaro by air and join a road transfer to Arusha. From Arusha, transfer to Lake Manyara, where tree climbing lions are perhaps the most celebrated spectacle of the Park, along with the pink flamingos which decorate the shallow soda lake. From Lake Manyara travel to Serengeti National Park, known to the local Masai people as the "endless plains". The park is the wildebeest's chosen location for their epic annual migration! Continue to Ngorongoro Conservation area - a huge sunken crater with 200 foot sheer walls which creat a spectacular amphitheatre. Housing a diverse range of eco-systems, you will have a good chance of spotting the "Big Five". Day 3: Nairobi / Kilimanjaro / Arusha After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nairobi airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport. Day 4: Arusha / Lake Manyara Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, and enjoy a game drive in the National Park. Lake Manyara is one of the most spectacular settings in Africa, comprising savannah grasslands at the edge of the Great Rift Valley. Accommodation: Lake Manyara (B,L,D)
Day 5: Lake Manyara / Serengeti Depart for the Serengeti National Park, the oldest and the largest National Park in Tanzania. The Serengeti is world renowned for one of the most breathtaking migrations annually. Accommodation: Serengeti (B,L,D)
Day 6: Serengeti Spend the day game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. Accommodation: Serengeti (B,L,D)
Transfer westwards to the protected World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is the largest caldera in the world and is judged by many to be a true natural wonder of the world. Accommodation: Ngorongoro (B,L,D)
Day 9: Ngorongoro Descend to the crater floor for a fully day of game viewing and sighseeing. Accommodation: Serengeti B,L,D)
