Canadian Rockies & Vancouver Island
"Beautiful British Columbia" the number plates say, and not without good reason. The Rockies are stunning; rugged granite peaks, fir forests and sparkling glaciers interspersed with valleys rich with wildlife - black and grizzly bear, elk, deer, moose and coyote. This trip takes in the celebrated attractions and also ventures off-the-beaten-track to get closer to the wonderful nature for which this region is deservedly famous. The boat trip through the spectacular wilderness of the Inside Passage reveals one of the richest marine habitats in the world; grey, killer and occasionally, humpback whales can be seen.
